Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) proposed a new bill, called the Protect Reporters from Excessive State Suppression (PRESS) Act, that would protect journalists’ data records from being seized by the government. WEHCO Media, which owns the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and Pine Bluff Commercial, has invested $2.1 million into upgrading Pine Bluff's internet infrastructure to offer Cablelynx Broadband gigabit service to every resident and business in the service area.
