Community newspaper publisher Christine Moore dies at age 60

Last week, the Beaverton Valley Times (Portland, Oregon) lost a leader, a sparkplug and a dear friend. Christine Moore spent the last 20 years of her life working for Pamplin Media Group. For much of that time, including right up until her death last Thursday from cancer complications, she served as publisher of The Times and led the newspaper's editorial board. more
