New York Times employees protest over union fights

More than 100 New York Times workers and their supporters protested outside The Times’ Manhattan headquarters on Tuesday, accusing the company of delaying contract talks.

The demonstration was attended by members of the Times Guild, which represents about 1,300 journalists; the Wirecutter Union, which is made up of employees from the Times-owned product review website; and the Times Tech Guild, which includes software engineers, data analysts and product managers.
