Newspapers are critical in communities, not only in providing vital information to readers but also in delivering results for local businesses through print and digital sales solutions.

America’s Newspapers is proud to partner with the leading media industry research expert, Borrell Associates, on a project to take a deep-dive into how local advertisers feel about newspapers and their sales solutions and local advertising overall.

The results of the research study will be used to promote the importance and value of newspapers, including:

  • White papers summarizing the results and what they mean in local markets.
  • Sales materials and media kits promoting the effectiveness of newspapers.
  • Marketing campaigns highlighting how newspapers deliver results for advertisers.

We need your participation!

In order to get the best results from this advertising study, we need your participation with two elements of the survey:

  • Survey of local advertising managers: This short, completely confidential survey measures local newspaper advertising managers' reactions to their sales efforts.  Click here to take part
  • Local advertiser survey:  This survey of local advertisers measures their thoughts on the effectiveness of various local advertising vehicles and their budgeting projections for the futures.  Additional details will be available mid-March.

Participating newspapers will be the first to receive summaries of the results, white papers and sales materials to promote the value of newspapers to advertisers.
