With NewsXtreme Cloud, plate management is now faster than before. Once the plates are approved via a secure web browser connection, the plate tiffs automatically download into the Kodak Press Console software for CTP output. Waccamaw now benefits from the quality and efficiency of a Kodak Thermal plate, without a chemical processor.

Waccamaw Publishers now uploads PDF files via FTP into the NewsXtreme Cloud load balancers, with the NewsXtreme system automating the process of PDF preflight and file correction with PDF Corrector. Ink optimization is managed by Ink-Miser, which reduces ink usage on press and produces cleaner images.
