Lange Svehlak, an experienced newspaper executive, has been appointed regional publisher of four Texas newspapers: the Palestine Herald-Press, Corsicana Daily Sun, Jacksonville Progress and Huntsville Item.
He is the publisher of the Athens Daily Review and replaces Jake Mienk as the group publisher for the CNHI-owned newspapers in East Texas.
Svehlak has served as regional advertising director and digital specialist for the papers since 2018.
