ePublishing’s new AI feature increases productivity

Posted

With more outlets and fewer staff members, news organizations are often asked to do more with less. In ePublishing’s latest Ellington CMS release, new AI functionality has been added to boost productivity. With the touch of a button, users can find inspiration for articles.

“When we were developing this feature, we thought a lot about our clients. It’s designed to improve workflow, supporting news teams with quick deadlines,” said Vice President of Product Kelli Chmielorz with ePublishing.

The new, AI-enabled text editor provides inspiration for articles, allowing writers and reporters to ask questions and conduct research within Ellington CMS. Simply, choose the AI button. Ask a question or type in a topic. Within seconds, sentences will appear to form the basis of a first draft.

“Our intent in creating the text editor was to give writers the opportunity to move beyond the blank page. However, we know AI can be divisive, so this functionality can be turned on or off, depending on an organization’s preferences,” said Chmielorz.
