In our current zeitgeist, it's common to ask be asked: “What is your why?” What is your reason for who you are and what you do?
When we get asked what AdPerfect’s why is, it’s an easy answer, even if not always believed. AdPerfect’s why is to provide technology that makes it super simple for funeral homes to submit obituaries to local newspapers, using a business model designed to reduce expense while maximizing revenue for the newspaper and the funeral home.
How does AdPerfect deliver on our why? AdPerfect’s parent company, Tribute Technology, has more than 15,000 funeral homes in their network, throughout the United States and Canada. Those funeral homes use AdPerfect’s Media API to submit the obituary, death notice or memoriam, right from their software into the newspaper’s content management system.
If a funeral home is not in the Tribute Technology network, they use AdPerfect’s award-winning self-serve process to easily submit the obituary, death notice or memoriam directly into the newspaper’s CMS. If a private party doesn’t work through a funeral home, they too can easily use AdPerfect’s self-serve process, with the destination of your newspaper’s CMS.
That’s the super simple.
How does AdPerfect reduce your expenses?
How does AdPerfect maximize your revenue?
Usually, the first question I get asked from my newspaper colleagues goes something like this: “Is this really true — the platform is free, and you split e-commerce revenue with us?”
Believe me, it is true. And it is our why. Now I’d ask you … why not?
