The Hot Springs Village Voice, a weekly newspaper in Arkansas, will be under new ownership following a sale to former publisher Jennifer Allen.
Allen plans to purchase the paper from the current owner Gannett Media.
Allen has been in the newspaper business for 32 years and is the former general manager and later the publisher of several Gannett Media papers in the state including the Voice.
“I’m excited to acquire Hot Springs Village Voice," she said. "It has been my home for 14 years and this will be the first time in those 14 years the Voice will be locally owned.”
