The calendar for America's Newspapers and the America's Newspapers Foundation is starting to fill up with the meetings, programs and deadlines that help shape the year for local newspapers. We’re pleased to announce that the 2027 Mega-Conference will be held April 19-21 in Orlando at the Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek, one of the premier resorts in the Disney area.
From Mega-Conference 2027 to leadership development and industry recognition opportunities, here are a few important dates to keep on your radar.
- 2026 Family Owners Conference and Senior Leadership Conference — America’s Newspapers heads to Washington, D.C., this fall for two important leadership meetings. The Family Owners Conference will be held Sept. 27-28, followed by the Senior Leadership Conference Sept. 28-30.
- Mega-Conference 2027 — April 19-21 in Orlando at the Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek. Put it on the calendar now. Mega is the industry’s key event for big conversations, practical ideas and the business of local newspapers.
- Carmage Walls Commentary Prize deadline — Entries are due May 31. It is an opportunity to earn recognition for outstanding editorial and opinion writing and put strong work in front of the industry. Details here: https://member.newspapers.org/carmagewalls.html
