Ricki Pryor has been named editor of The Richmond Register in Kentucky.
She has been with the newspaper for the past five years and has worked as a journalist for more than a decade. While at The Register, Pryor has spearheaded efforts to strengthen the newspaper's digital footprint and visual storytelling through the use of video.
"Madison County has a rich history, and I'm honored to continue chronicling it through the area's most reliable and trusted news source. The past five years I've spent at The Register has been full of many learning experiences and many amazing people; I'm excited to continue that journey as editor," Pryor said.
