Where are we now and what does the future hold? As the digital publishing platform provider for hundreds of news media brands, Pugpig has created a comprehensive industry report covering the state of digital publishing.

The report pulls together a mix of aggregated data from across the Pugpig portfolio along with in-depth face-to-face interviews with an array of industry execs representing brands from The Economist and Conde Nast to Hearst, Tortoise, DMG Media and The Wall Street Journal.

In the report, Pugpig shares hitherto unpublished metrics on reader engagement and digital product feature usage along with insights into the audience development, product, platform, technology and organizational strategies of the world’s leading media brands.

"The thing is," says CEO and Founder Jonny Kaldor, "while there's plenty of data flying around, we don't see many reports compiled from conversations with our industry leaders and that's where you can get real insight.  Our report aims to give an insider view into where the industry is going rather than just the data on where it currently is."

This year's report shares basic trends on app usage.  Next year, Pugpig will be publishing considerably more data-driven insight across web and apps to go along with its interviews.

To access the report, complete this form and Pugpig will send you a free copy. And if you fancy a running commentary, you can find the preview that Jonny Kaldor gave during the FIPP Congress here or you can hear him discussing the report with Peter Houston from the Media Voices Podcast here.
