Dan Chalk has been named managing editor of the Midland Daily News in Michigan.
“Dan has been indispensable during the pandemic, as he joined our news team after working in his sports manager role on our sports desk,” said Editor Kate Hessling. “The whole newsroom is pleased that Dan is stepping into this new role.”
He succeeds Lori Qualls, who retired after many years with the Midland Daily News in February.
