The Star Tribune Media Company announced today that its reader-driven reporting project, Curious Minnesota, is celebrating its fifth anniversary. To commemorate the milestone, Curious Minnesota has launched an interactive web archive featuring answers to more than 260 reader-submitted questions. The Curious Minnesota Collection can be found at www.startribune.com/curious.

The Star Tribune's wildly popular community-driven reporting project puts readers' questions at the center of the newsroom's reporting. Readers have submitted more than 3,000 questions since it began in 2019.

“We launched Curious Minnesota five years ago with a simple premise: Tell us what you want to read about,” said Curious Minnesota Editor Eric Roper. “Since then, this project has become a true collaboration between Minnesota's largest newsroom and thousands of curious readers.”

The new online feature highlights the ever-growing archive of Minnesota history and culture. For the first time, readers can find all Curious Minnesota stories in one place, sort them by topic and discover articles they may have missed from the past. The collection also highlights stories that were featured on the Curious Minnesota podcast, which is now in its fourth year.

“We want Curious Minnesota to be educational, fun and a reminder of what makes Minnesota a special place to call home,” Roper added. “Reader questions have taken us in so many surprising and fascinating directions. I learn something new every week, and I hope our audience feels the same way.”
