Alan Davis will be retiring at the end of the week after five and a half years in charge of The Daily Tribune News (Cartersville, Georgia) and Chatsworth Times.

"My wife and I will do some traveling. She has a bucket list of places she would like to visit,” Davis said of his plans in retirement. "We also plan to spend more time on the lake. I have a small fishing boat I am restoring and love to hunt and fish. My honey do list is long, so I don’t think I am going to run out of things to do for a very long time."

Group Publisher Jack McNeely will oversee the operations at The Daily Tribune News and its other publications. McNeely’s primary office will be located at The Cleveland (Tennessee) Daily Banner, but he plans to hold regular office hours in Cartersville and become an active partner in the local business community.
