Virginia Black, the news adviser at the Purdue Exponent and former assistant managing editor at The South Bend Tribune, will lead the news operations as the editor at the Lafayette Journal & Courier, The Star Press in Muncie and The Palladium-Item in Richmond (all Indiana papers).
She will start in her new position on June 3, and will be based in Lafayette.
