Valeri Sandmeier has been appointed advertising director of The Daily Times (Alcoa, Tennessee), effective Monday, Jan. 29. She will succeed Darrell Richardson, who will become general manager of the Lenoir City (Tennessee) News-Herald and The Connection.
Dating back to 2011, Sandmeier served as a multimedia advertising account executive at The Daily Times and from 2014-19 was digital sales manager.
From 2008 through 2011, she served as an advertising administrative assistant and classified phone room supervisor.
