Ron Prince has been named the regional publisher overseeing the Lake Charles, Bogalusa and LaPlace newspapers in Louisiana and the Picayune, Mississippi, publication for Carpenter Media Group.
Prince served as advertising director and then president and director of local sales and marketing at the Waco (Texas) Tribune-Herald for eight years and the director of sales and marketing at The Bryan-College Station (Texas) Eagle for two years. Most recently he served as the regional president of Lee Enterprises and regional advertising director of Adams Publishing Group.
