The Democrat & Chronicle has announced that Heather Falkey has been named the general manager in the Rochester, New York, market.
In this role, Falkey will work closely with the executive editor to strengthen local connection points with businesses and brands to drive community-based strategies and engagement effective Feb. 5.
Falkey's journey at Gannett spans over 16 years, embracing diverse roles from new business development specialist to classified sales manager, local sales manager and most recently as the regional sales manager overseeing Western New York.
