The Local Media Consortium (LMC), a strategic alliance of local media companies, announced in December the formation of its Digital on Demand Services (DODS) program to provide local media companies with broader, lower cost access to strategic consultants, developers and technical resources. The program is specifically designed to accelerate digital growth among local media companies and MIDTC was selected as one of two technology companies to provide services for the program. A recent LMC survey of their community publisher members revealed that 64% have fewer than three internal digital development resources and 33% have no internal digital development services, whatsoever.
The Revlyst/MIDTC partnership was launched in 2022 and is assisting a variety of local media companies with their IT and digital technology growth initiatives. “We’re very excited about being chosen by the LMC to participate in their new program and looking forward to assisting local media companies in achieving their 2023 digital goals,” said Greg Osberg, CEO of Revlyst.
