Pat Dorsey, publisher of The Santa Fe New Mexican, was elected Tuesday to a full-term as chair of America's Newspapers. Dorsey was named chair earlier this year after Matt McMillan accepted a role outside the newspaper industry. He now will serve a full term as chair.
In addition, Jeremy Gulban, CEO of CherryRoad Media, was elected vice chair. Eliza Gaines, publisher of WEHCO Media, was elected as treasurer.

Two individuals were elected to initial three-year terms on the board of directors:
- Aaron Julien, chairman of the board, Newspapers of New England
- Kurt Jackson, owner and managing member, Software Consulting Services
Three board members werer elected to second three-year terms:
- Camille Olson, partner, Seyfarth Shaw LLC
- Tim Prince, president and CEO, Carpenter Media Group
- Zachary Richner, director, Richner Communications
