Laura Britting is a dynamic professional boasting a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and an MBA, showcasing her commitment to a comprehensive skill set blending cultural understanding with strategic business acumen. With over 15 years of experience in grant writing, she has successfully secured funding from diverse sources, including foundations, state and federal funds, and private endowments, contributing significantly to both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.
Her journey has seen her navigate the realm of nonprofit management, culminating in her role as the CEO of a child advocacy center in Michigan. In this capacity, she demonstrated effective leadership, championing the rights and well-being of children. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Creative Writing, she continues to evolve, highlighting her dedication to creativity and expression. She is excited to be working alongside everyone at America’s Newspapers Foundation in the goal of supporting local news across the country.
