Jane Ashley Pace, Paxton Media Group regional advertising director and publisher of both the Henry County Local and Oldham Era, is now president of the Kentucky Press Association, a newspaper industry trade group established in 1869.
“This association has been guided by some truly extraordinary and inspiring individuals, leaders that have fortified our industry and our state while overcoming numerous obstacles and challenges along the way,” Pace said during the KPA convention held last week in Bowling Green. “Following in the footsteps of those before me is an honor I don’t take lightly.”
Pace recapped the journey of her career during the speech, starting with her first newspaper position as an advertising representative in Grant County to her 20th anniversary of her career in the industry this past fall.
