The Greenville (South Carolina) News has announced that David Foster has been named the general manager in the Greenville market.
In this role, Foster will work closely with the newsroom and sales team to strengthen local connection points with businesses and brands to drive community-based strategies and engagement effective Feb. 5.
Foster joined Gannett nine years ago and has held roles as a local sales director, vice president of advertising sales overseeing South Carolina, and most recently regional vice president of sales overseeing South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
