Gerardine Mobley joins Advance Local as VP of diversity and inclusion

Gerardine Mobley has been named Advance Local’s first VP of diversity & inclusion and will work collaboratively across the organization to further the company’s D&I efforts.

In this capacity, she will develop and execute a company-wide D&I strategic plan that will focus on improving the demographics of Advance Local’s workforce, at all levels, to reflect the communities we serve; work with each function of the organization to help them engage with and strengthen relationships with the underserved communities in the markets we serve; and, partner with HR to further weave diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the company’s employee relations programs, policies and training.

Mobley also will be responsible for collaborating with and providing direction to Advance Local’s diversity committees’ efforts by leveraging best practices and innovative ideas to maximize their efforts and leading development of the company’s annual D&I reports.

Mobley has 20 years of experience in all aspects of developing, monitoring and assessing diversity, inclusion, equal opportunity, and compliance policies and programs and was most recently vice president, global senior diversity, equity & inclusion manager at TD Bank. “I am really excited to join the Advance Local team.
