Ashley Bethard has been named the new editor of the Dayton (Ohio) Daily News as well as chief content officer for Cox First Media.
Bethard is an award-winning journalist and writer who launched the website Dayton.com and has led the Dayton Daily News’ digital news team since 2020.
She succeeds Jim Bebbington, who is leaving Cox at the end of February.
