Gerald Thomas III has been named as the new sports editor for the Bryan County News (Richmond Hill, Georgia) and the Coastal Courier (Hinesville, Georgia).
He graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in mass media in the spring of 2020 and worked as a sports stringer for the Valdosta Daily Times before accepting his new position.
