The State Journal-Register's office in Springfield, Illinois, will be auctioned in September.
Leisa Richardson, executive editor, announced Wednesday the building will be put up for auction in September. The starting bid for the 135,000-square-foot building will be $400,000. The building has spent the past 10 years on the market.
"The property is on the market for sale," Richardson said. "Once sold, we plan to relocate to another building but will remain a part of the Springfield community."
