America’s Newspapers has announced a broad series of 2021 programs designed specifically for newspaper leaders, managers and teams.

“2020 was a challenging year and America’s Newspapers responded by providing a wide variety of webinars, conferences and training programs to meet the needs of our members,” said Dean Ridings, CEO of America’s Newspapers.  “We conducted 32 webinars and more than 11,000 newspaper professionals attended our virtual sessions.  For the immediate future, we’re living in a virtual world and our programming will reflect that.  However, we’re anxious to resume our live meeting schedule as soon as it’s safe to do so.”

“Quality training to meet the needs of the changing newspaper world is critical,” said Patty Slusher, director of programming for America’s Newspapers. “Our programs are solution and results based.  At the end of every session, the participants will walk away with actionable information and strategies.  Our programs for 2021 go deeper into the areas our members need most. From sales to content, circulation to human resources, there truly will be something of interest for every level of the newspaper industry.”

The programming schedule includes:

Monthly Webinars
Solutions for Managers and Leaders

At the center of the programming schedule are America’s Newspapers’ industry-leading webinars.  Each month will include at least two webinars conducted by industry experts, newspaper executives, consultants and media industry suppliers.  Webinars are focused on the latest industry studies and current events affecting newspapers and, most of all, they provide solutions for participants.

Meetings are limited strictly to newspapers only and are open to owners, their families and designated executives.

The next Family and Independent Owners Conference will be Oct. 16.  Additional information will be available soon.
