Northeast Arkansas news veteran Gretchen Hunt has been promoted to a new position as regional editor for Paxton Media Group, taking over newsrooms in Jonesboro, Paragould, Newport and Walnut Ridge.
Group Publisher Reece Terry of the Paducah, Kentucky, chain said that the elevation of Hunt was part of an editorial management restructuring in northeast Arkansas.
