The company's main goals, the company told its staffers, are to:

• Protect the well-being of our employees. If you feel sick, stay home. If you must travel, plan to self-quarantine per CDC guidelines and let your supervisor know.
• Do whatever we can to limit the spread of the virus.
• Ensure continuity of the business.
• Provide reliable information about the virus to readers. They will be depending on us now more than ever.

Employees of Osteen Publishing Company also were given links to the America's Newspapers coronavirus page and to the CDC website as sites that are "pertinent to our industry's situation, so please refer to them regularly for updates in the coming days."
