Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications will welcome Robert Brown as its inaugural director of diversity, equity, inclusion and outreach this fall. Brown currently serves as director of social justice education at Northwestern University where he leads several curricular and co-curricular social justice education initiatives.
“I’m delighted to have Robert join us at Medill,” said Medill Dean Charles Whitaker. “The work that he will do will be instrumental in helping us to create a socially just community by continuing to strengthen our pedagogy and policies, and develop programs that foster acceptance and inclusion at Medill and in the industries we serve.”
