Lineup Systems has announced that the Las Vegas Review-Journal has chosen Adpoint, Lineup System’s multichannel advertising sales solution, to replace its existing system. Kim Espejo, information technology director at the Las Vegas Review-Journal, said the current system, chosen in 2013, now feels “antiquated,” as the Review-Journal has continued to evolve and needed a more agile sales solution.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal is a daily newspaper published since 1909. The paper operates reviewjournal.com, a network of niche publications and community newspapers, magazines, e-newsletters, custom printing, a video production studio and more to meet the specific needs of readers and advertisers alike.

In recent years, the Review-Journal's digital growth has outpaced the capabilities of its current sales system, leading the organization to look for a solution that had a more intuitive user interface, Google Ad Manager integration and real-time reporting dashboards.

In making its decision, the Review-Journal cited Adpoint’s strong multi-channel feature set and clean user interface. Espejo noted that the Review-Journal's key goals include reducing total cost of ownership, improving workflow efficiency and integrating multiple systems for ease of use.

“The Las Vegas Review-Journal is an impressive, high-performing local paper,” said Markus Feldenkirchen, president of sales, North America at Lineup Systems. “Their requirements aligned very well with our core strengths, and we’re very glad to have them join the Lineup community.”

Key solutions sought:

  • Clean, intuitive user interface
  • Integration with Salesforce and other cornerstone systems
  • Google Ad Manager integration to streamline digital operations
  • Real-time reporting capabilities
  • Reduced total cost of ownership
