Don Farley, president and publisher of Times-Shamrock Communications, has announced plans to leave at the end of December after a career with stops in every division of the Scranton, Pennsylvania-based company that publishes The Citizens’ Voice, The Times-Tribune in Scranton, The Standard-Speaker in Hazleton and the Republican Herald in Pottsville.

“I have worked in every facet of this organization, and I think I’m the only one who has and ever will,” Farley said, noting some of the divisions no longer exist. “It’s been a really fun, crazy ride.”

With Farley’s departure, James Lewandowski, Times-Shamrock CEO, announced the company will hire a vice president of sales to lead the revenue teams and manage the sales plan for the business. The search to fill the position is underway.
