The building and parking lot of the Courier-Tribune in Asheboro, North Carolina, went on the market Feb. 1. Gannett said a new location for the Courier-Tribune will be determined soon.
The Courier-Tribune is considered one of the 10 oldest newspapers published in North Carolina, tracing its roots back to 1876. It was named the Courier-Tribune in 1940 with the merger of the Courier and the Randolph Tribune. It publishes daily except for Mondays.
