Daily Telegram buildings in downtown Adrian, Michigan, for sale

The three buildings owned by The Daily Telegram in downtown Adrian, Michigan, are for sale.

Gannett, which owns the Telegram, has put many of the buildings it owns in Michigan and around the country up for sale, said Daniel Lynch, of the commercial real estate firm BellCornerstone, which is handling the sales.

The three buildings are the Telegram’s offices at 133 N. Winter St., which includes its pressroom, as well as 155 N. Winter St., which used to house the Access Shoppers’ Guide offices, and 205 N. Winter St., which used to be the Adrian Eagles hall. Both the former Access and Eagles buildings have been vacant or used for storage for several years.

Whether the Telegram moves to new offices depends on if the buyer of its main building is open to a lease-back agreement, Lynch said.
