John Anderson has been named editor of the Tyler (Texas) Morning Telegraph. Publisher Justin Wilcox said the veteran journalist will take over management of the Tyler print and digital news operations.
“John’s broad experience in covering news, sports and community events, and his energy and excitement for engaging readers in new ways, is a great fit for Tyler,” Wilcox said. “He will help us reengage with our community and grow our business.”
Anderson most recently worked as editor of the Batavia Daily News in New York.
