Sue Silliman, the general manager for the Camden (Arkansas) News and the Magnolia (Arkansas) Banner-News, has announced her retirement from WEHCO newspapers. Robyn Yarbro, director of business development for both papers, will be promoted to general manager.
“Sue has been an outstanding general manager,” WEHCO chairman Walter E. Hussman Jr. said. “Her dedication and loyalty to the Camden News has been exceptional. We will miss her and wish her well in the future. But we are fortunate to have Robyn take her place. She is also a talented and strong leader for the Camden News.”
Silliman has worked for WEHCO for more than three decades. Her last day will be Dec. 31, and Yarbro will begin her new position on Jan. 1.
