As the number of endorsement letters on ballot measures continued to grow, the Denton (Texas) Record-Chronicle decided to start charging $25 for letters up to 250 words. No letters over 250 words will be accepted.
The letters in support of amendments and propositions on the ballot in Denton County are published on Tuesdays and Saturdays and appear adjacent to the Opinion page.
Paid endorsement letters will be accepted until Friday, Nov. 1.
