Granite Publications has announced the passing of Jim Chionsini, president and founder of Granite Publications.
In a Facebook post, Granite Publications said: "Jim has spent his lifetime serving small town communities through his newspapers, through his support for the Texas Rangers and local law enforcement, and through his dedicated service to veterans and wounded soldiers. We were honored to work and serve alongside such a great man and fully intend to continue carrying out his legacy."
No public services are planned at this time, but the family will coordinate a large celebration to honor Chionsini once the environment is more stable due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
